SHOCKFORCETM DRILLING JAR
The ShockForceTM double-acting fully hydraulic drilling jar with an extended stroke length, was engineered to deliver industry-leading impact forces. The hydrostatically balanced jar can withstand downhole pressures up to 30,000 psi. An integrated elevator lift area and a bottom flex sub reduce fatigue while drilling.
The ShockForceTM drilling jar also includes two unique features: Safety Lock module and JarMax technology. The internal Safety Lock module eliminates the need for a traditional external safety collar, unlocking the tool only with sufficient hydrostatic pressure downhole and locking the tool automatically when tripping out.
JarMax technology releases the jar before it reaches its over-pull limit, which prevents damage and lets you quickly and repeatedly jar at maximum capacity without time-consuming calculations.
JAR MAXS TECHNOLOGIE
FEATURES
- Longest free stroke lengths available – generates higher impact and impulse forces.
- Hydrostatically balanced – operational to 30,000 psi.
- Improved sealing technology – delivers reliable, consistent impacts under extended jarring
- Integrated elevator lift area – cost savings from reduced handling time
- Safety Lock module – eliminates the need for a traditional safety collar
- JarMax technology – ensures the hardest hits and prevents jarring damage to the tool

POWERSTROKETM DRILLING JAR
Every aspect of this double-acting hydraulic jar was designed to withstand the rigors and long hours of challenging applications. Featuring an extra-long stroke length for exceptional impact and impulse forces during jarring operations, the PowerStrokeTM jar offers infinitely variable trip loads up to the maximum rating of the tool.
Only a minimal load is required in both the up and down jarring directions, which is crucial in directional, horizontal, and extended-reach wellbores. This makes the PowerStrokeTM jar an ideal solution for modern drilling operations.
CRUCIAL IN DIRECTIONAL, HORIZONTAL AND EXTENDED-REACH DRILLING
FEATURES
- Safety – This safety enhancing and time saving device locks the PowerStroke in the open position via a mechanical latch actuated bi the absence of hydrostatic pressure. The Safety Lock is located internally to the PowerStroke; therefore, eliminating the Mandrel Clamp during rig up/down operation
- Handling – The Rex Sub possesses an engineered location for Elevator placement to eliminate the need for a Lift Sub when handling the PowerStroke
- Lenght – The PowerStroke’s overall lenght equals that of conventional drillpipe for ease and safe placement within the Derrick and/or Mouse Hole
- Connections – The PowerStroke is easily adapted to any BHA by simply changing out the Flex Sub and Bottom Sub to the desired connection
- Manufacturing – All jars are manufactured to I.S.O. 9001 specifications utilizing materials of outstanding quality.

GRIFFITHFORCETM DOUBLE-ACTING HYDRAULIC DRILLING JAR
The GriffithForceTM double-acting hydraulic drilling jar features high-yield mechanical construction, optimum protective parts material, and enhanced high-pressure sealing technology for dependable performance when jarring for extended periods.
The GriffithForceTM drilling jar is hydrostatically balanced, and a newly designed pressure retaining system protects the tool from the high internal pressures generated during jarring. The tool has a shorter overall length and a high maximum overpull load limit delivering high energy impacts on demand. This jar is the ideal solution for drilling and fishing applications.
DEPENDABLE PERFORNANCE WHEN JARRING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS
FEATURES
- Compatibility – large inner diameter for use with ball and dart activated tools
- Versatility – fully hydraulic jar ideal for placement in extended reach applications
- Infinitely variable impacts – provides hydraulic metering with a high maximum overpull load limit
- Continuous and consistent jarring performance – retains hydraulic delay in both directions
- Reliable design – high-yield material construction combined with optimum protective part material

CIRCULATING SUBS
DOWN-HOLE DRILLING TOOLS
MOCS G2TM (MULTIPLE OPENING CIRCULATION SUB)
The second generation of MOCS G2TM tool was developed to improve drilling efficiency and reliability, reduce drilling costs, and enhance the safety of your operation.
The MOCS G2TM is activated and infinitely cycled with a single ball that changes the drilling fluid flow path from the ID of the string (non-bypass) to the annulus (bypass).
By simply changing the flow regimes, you can cycle the tool between bypass and non-bypass modes an unlimited number of times.
DOWN-HOLE DRILLING TOOLS
FEATURES
- Easy to use – simple operation requires only one ball
- On-demand performance – cycles in as little as 10 seconds with ball on seat
- Unlimited cycling – flow rate actuation alleviates need for multiple balls
- Versatile – can be loaded on surface and placed anywhere in the string
- Safe – eliminates the need to break string at every cycle
- ID Compatibility – variable ball size allows for flexibility with various string IDs
- Reduced invisible-lost time – no wasted trips for an exhausted ball catcher
- Designed to trip dry pipe – ports shift closed when pumps are off, automatically draining to the lower BHA
- Allows fishing operations below the tool – open through bore before activation or by fishing the ball
- Maintains well control safety – automatically closes ports when incoming flow drops

DRILLING STABILIZERS
Drill collars, when used without stabilizers, tend to buckle and cause unwanted deviation. A typical bottom hole assembly (BHA) will include one or two stabilizers placed in the drillstring to increase stiffness.
Sometimes additional stabilizers are added to the drillstring to further increase BHA rigidity to ensure that wellbore deviation is minimized.
Stabilizers also prevent differential sticking of the drillstring by stabilizing the BHA and keeping drill collars and drillpipe away from the borehole wall. This reduces vibration, drillpipe whirl, and wellbore tortuousity; moreover, the stabilization maintains drilling trajectory whether drilling straight, horizontal, or directional wells.
Options for Stabilization
We offer stabilizers in straight and spiral orientation with two material options:
INTEGRAL BLADE STEEL STABILIZER
The Integral Blade Steel Stabilizer is a product of exact manufacturing and is engineered to stabilize your drillstring in the most challenging drilling conditions.
When drilling through hard formations, the required weight on bit to drill the wellbore exerts tremendous sideloads on the blades of the stabilizer.
The Integral Blade Stabilizer's one-piece construction ensures you have the reliabilty and durablilty to drill with confidence.
TECSEP’s Downhole Integral Blade Stabilizers are available in both Straight and Spiral Blade designs.
RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY TO DRILL WITH CONFIDENCE
FEATURES
- BIB Stabilizer – Body integral blade stabilizers are cut out a single piece of fully heat-treated AISI 4145H steel with a perfect design for a small to medium size stabilizers, ensuring string integrity while remaining economical.
- 3 different options for hardfacing on the blades:
Toploy - Satisfactory behaviour in soft formations and easy to repair.
Topflame - Excellent behaviour even in hard and abrasive formations or in H25 environment. Adheres well to its support. Sound deposit, without cracks in spite of its extreme hardness.
Topic - Excellent behaviour even in hard and abrasive formations. Excellent impact strenght, resistant to abrasion and H25 corrosion.
